Banns

Before your wedding takes place, banns will usually need to be read in the parish church. The Church Administrator will arrange for this to be done, normally during the month before your wedding, at three Sunday services.

If one or both of you currently live out of the parish in which you are to be married, the banns will also need to be read in the parish in which you currently reside and you must arrange for this to be done with the vicar in that parish, and supply the certificate to our Administrator before your wedding.
