6 PARISHES TOGETHER, 29 APRIL 2018

This Sunday, 29 April, all the parishes of the Mission Community are worshipping together at St Andrew’s Church, Broadhembury. The service is going to be a celebration of Rural Life with The Liturgy of the Country. It is going to include a talk by Peter Girling about the “There But Not There” initiative remembering that this is 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.

8.30am onwards    Meet St Mary’s, Upottery

9.30am    Leave Upottery

11.00am    St Mary’s, Luppitt

11.30am    Leave Luppitt

12.30pm St Nicholas, Dunkeswell

1.15pm    Leave Dunkeswell

2.15pm St James, Sheldon

2.45pm    Leave Sheldon

4.30pm     St Andrew’s, Broadhembury

Joined by walkers from Plymtree

Drinks and some refreshments will be available at the churches along the way. Please bring your own picnic lunch and water.

Walkers are responsible for their own safety at all times. please be careful when walking on lanes and particularly crossing busy roads.

You can walk the whole route or just one section.

People of all ages are welcome to join the walk. Under 18’s should have parental approval and suitable supervision on the walk.

 Due to unforeseen circumstances, St Nicholas church is currently without heating. During the current cold weather, services will be held in either the Village Hall in the ‘old’ village, or the Throgmorton Hall at Highfield.
