16 April – Prince Phillip memorial service at St. Andrew’s, Broadhembury at 3pm

The date of the funeral for Prince Phillip has now been set for Saturday 17th April.  It has been suggested by the Church of England that parishes or communities might wish to hold some form of memorial service and that these should take place before the funeral.

It is intended to hold a special memorial service at Broadhembury on the afternoon of Friday 16th April at 3pm.  This will be led by Revd Jane Penn.

Due to Covid restrictions, numbers attending will be strictly limited to 30.  Therefore, anyone attending must have booked a in advance.  Bookings can be made directly to Bill Sivewright via email.

I suggest that this is something that many in the parish, who do not normally attend St Andrew’s might wish to join.  So, can I ask that you canvass the opinion of, not only your household, but also your neighbours’?

Also, please consult with those who have no access to the internet and perhaps make a booking on their behalf.  Once booked the email confirmation will have to be printed and presented on arrival.  Only those in possession of a confirmed booking will be allowed in.
