Platinum Jubilee Services and celebrations

We warmly invite you to join us this Sunday as the country celebrates our Queen’s platinum jubilee.

St. Andrew’s, Broadhembury
11 am A special service of Morning Praise led by Revd Jane

St. Nicholas, Dunkeswell
11 am Holy Communion for Pentecost and Jubilee service led by Revd Peter Horder
Followed by a light lunch int he Village Hall, £5

St. Mary’s, Luppitt
2 pm A special all age Jubilee service led by Revd Jane with filling of our time capsule
All are invited to bring along items to place in the capsule which will be sealed and buried by the Millennium stone.
3 pm Big Jubilee Picnic at the Village Hall. Please bring your own food and utensils. Cash bar. Tea and coffee available.

St. John the Baptist, Plymtree
2nd – 5th June Platinum Jubilee Festival in the Church.

A walk through 70 years of the Queens reign in our Parish and Country
5th June 4pm Songs of Praise and cream teas in the Churchyard

St. James the Greater, Sheldon
2nd June Jubilee Beacon at the Gliding Club, Golden Lane
Sheldon residents are invited to the lighting of the beacon at North Hill at 9:45 PM (21:45) at the west end (far end) of the field.
5th June 9:30 am Family service led by Revd Jane

St. Mary the Virgin, Upottery
11 am Please come and celebrate our Queen with a joyful service of music, songs, readings and uplifting quotes as we give thanks to Her Majesty for 70 years of Godly and dutiful service.
Bring your whole family, including dogs, and a blanket or chairs. The Parish Picnic will follow on after the service.

There is a Commemorative Book in the Church for everyone, young and old, to come and write in as a Parish keepsake.
