Church services for Sunday 2nd February

Today the season of Christmastide ends with the Presentation of Christ at the Temple where he is recognised as the Messiah by Simeon and Anna. Traditionally Churches blessed candles in special ceremonies, and these blessed lights symbolised Christ as the “Light of the World.”
